We are proud to announce the successful conclusion of the Second Medic Conference of the Mon National Health Committee (MNHC), held recently at Dhamma Parla, Ye Township (Dawei District) on 19-21 Jan 2026. This landmark gathering brought together a diverse assembly of stakeholders, including Administrative Departments & Local Authorities, Education & Women’s Organization, the Mon Medical Association (MMA) & Boarder Health Initiative (BHI) and Medics & Technical Experts. The sessions were focused on the future of health in our region, with deep discussions on the MNHC Strategic Roadmap and coming Challenges. Sustainability & Fundraising: Developing local solutions to ensure long-term health equity. Strategic Collaboration: Formalizing our partnership with the Mon Medical Association (MMA) to enhance clinical standards. By localizing the “Triple Nexus” approach-linking humanitarian aid, development, and peace we are building a more resilient healthcare system that puts the health of our community in their own hands. The Mon National Health Committee (MNHC) successfully held the Closing ceremony for its 38th batch basic medic training program on November 10, 2025.

The event took place at the Training Center in Panang Pong, Ye Chaung Puar Region, and saw attendance from a distinguished group including the MNSP's Central Executive Committee (CEC) and Executive Committee (EC) Members of MNHC, the training instructors, current medics, the graduating medic students, and their parents. The MNHC consistently organizes these training programs as part of its commitment to enhancing primary health care services in remote areas and upgrading human resources for health. This latest batch, the 38th, successfully graduated 43 students, all of whom passed the requisite examinations and were awarded the Basic Medic Training certificate.

Opening Ceremony of 10th Batch Medical laboratory Technician Training 

The MNHC celebrated the opening ceremony of 10th Batch Medical laboratory Technician Training on July 28, 2023 in Panang Pong Public Hospital, Ye Chanug Pya Region. There are a total of 19 trainees, including 5 male and 14 females. The training was held at the main clinic located in Panangpong Village, Ye Chaung Phya area. #PanangPong
